Medical Review Process

Last updated: July 2026

Nutrition and health advice can shape real decisions people make about their bodies, so we do not publish it lightly. This page explains how we review our health content, who does the reviewing, and what the review is meant to catch. It sits alongside our Editorial Policy, which covers how the content is written in the first place.

Why we review our content

An article can be well written and still be wrong or out of date. A review is there to catch that. Before a health article goes live, a qualified member of our team reads it to check that the information is accurate, that it reflects current evidence, and that it will not mislead someone about their health.

Who reviews our content

Our reviews are carried out by qualified professionals, including registered dietitians and, where the topic calls for it, doctors and pharmacists from our team. We match the reviewer to the subject, so clinical topics like diabetes or PCOS are checked by someone with the right background, and product or supplement content is checked by someone who understands safety and interactions.

What the review checks

When we review an article, we look at whether the health claims are supported by reliable evidence, whether anything is missing that a reader would need to stay safe, whether the advice suits a general audience rather than one specific patient, and whether it makes clear when someone should speak to their own doctor. We also check that the article does not promise results it cannot deliver.

How we show it

When an article has been reviewed, we show the reviewer name and the date of the review on the page. That way you are not taking our word for it. You can see who checked the content and when, and follow the link to their profile to see their qualifications.

Keeping content current

A review is not a one time event. As guidance changes, we revisit and re-review our content, and we update the review date when we do. If you spot something that looks out of date or incorrect, email us at contact@nuritron.com and we will check it.

Important

Our review makes our general content more reliable, but it does not turn an article into personal medical advice. For anything specific to you, please read our Medical Disclaimer and speak to your own doctor, or book a consultation with our team.
